Ordatel has not changed what it does. Only the name for it has. We used to do network engineering for carriers; we now do systems engineering for groups that depend on their infrastructure just as much.

Our history
Ten dates, one thread.
Thirty-seven years of dates, each of which added an area of expertise without removing one.
- 1989 Ordatel founded: telecoms, infrastructure and data for automotive, finance and telecoms.
- 1991 VSAT operations and a satellite transmission licence.
- 1993 Chorus Distribution founded, the IBM and Cisco reseller arm.
- 1995 First GSM licence abroad, with France Télécom International.
- 2001 Ordatel Jerusalem founded and expansion into the Middle East.
- 2015 RHM acquired, Ordatel Institute launched and entry into automotive training.
- 2017 Axis Group Corporate acquired and the data practice created.
- 2022 Skills Group Services acquired and the cybersecurity practice created.
- 2025 European expansion with Skills Group Services, new governance and new offerings (GES).
Our client segments
The same sectors since 1989, a scope three times wider.
Carriers, car manufacturers and banks trusted us with their networks in our first year. They still do, joined by industry and transport. What changed is how much of their systems we take on.

With Chorus Distribution we stopped recommending equipment and started supplying, financing and operating it. Designing in the knowledge that you will operate changes the calls you make.

Ordatel Institute made passing knowledge on a discipline in its own right. What a consultant learns at a client feeds a body of knowledge rather than leaving with them.

From infrastructure to data and risk
The data practice and then the cybersecurity practice answer the same shift at our clients: value and risk have moved off the server and onto the data passing through it.
