Brand

The logo, its variants and its rules.

The official logo files, the brand colours and the rules for reproducing them. Everything here is free to download.

Available formats

SVG is the reference format: it stays sharp at any size and is suitable for print. The PNG, exported large and on a transparent background, is for tools that cannot read vector files: word processors, presentations, publishing platforms.

The variants

01

Full logo

The reference form, symbol and name together with the GROUP wording. Use it wherever the width allows: documents, presentations, signage, partnerships.

Minimum width : 140 px

02

Logo without the GROUP wording

The same composition, lightened. For narrow placements where the wording would become illegible: email signatures, document headers, banners.

Minimum width : 100 px

Symbol only

The globe and its satellite, without the name. Reserved for contexts where the brand is already named alongside: social media avatar, application icon, watermark.

The animated variant

The header of this site carries an animated version of the symbol, in which the satellite travels its orbit. It belongs to the site and is not distributed: everywhere else, the fixed logo is the one to use.

Application icons

All of them carry the symbol, with no variant and no simplification. The two meant for home screens are square and opaque: iOS and Android apply their own mask on top.

The colours

Two colours carry the brand, two neutrals support them. Navy structures, orange punctuates — never the other way round. Use the values below as they are.

  • Navy

    #232559

    RVB 35 · 37 · 89

Brand colour. Backgrounds, headings, body text.

  • Flame

    #e95e1b

    RVB 233 · 94 · 27

Accent. Links, dividing lines, an underlined word. Never a large area of colour.

  • Deep navy

    #14162e

    RVB 20 · 22 · 46

    Wide dark backgrounds, footer.

  • Slate

    #f8f9fb

    RVB 248 · 249 · 251

    Light backgrounds, alternating sections.

The typography

Think Global, Act Local

Inter

Headings, body text and interface, across every brand medium. Available under the SIL Open Font Licence.

1989

Newsreader

Reserved for figures and dates, as a counterpoint to Inter and used sparingly. Available under the SIL Open Font Licence.

The rules

They apply to every medium, print and digital alike.

Do

  • Leave empty space around the logo equal to a quarter of its height.
  • Use the light version as soon as the background is dark, and vice versa.
  • Start from the vector file whenever the tool accepts it.
  • Scale an image down if needed, never up.

Avoid

  • Recolouring the logo, including in the brand colours.
  • Stretching, compressing or rotating it.
  • Adding a shadow, an outline or an effect.
  • Placing it over a busy photograph with no plain background behind it.
  • Setting the name in another typeface.
